KIDZ KREATIVE ZONE DANCE SEASON 2009-2010
ATTENTION ALL PARENTS OF THE KKZ PROGRAM
I, Miss April and my leaders are finding it very frustrating and discouraging of the lack of participation and attention of the parents of students involved in our program not attending parent meetings or responding to our handout notices and so forth. We are having the most difficulty with newer students/parents and the boys hip hop.
I cannot express enough when parents fail to attend (mandatory meetings) and respond to our handouts, that it is your child that suffers the consequences (miss out on the opportunity to participate in outside class activities from performances to sleep over and more). Furthermore, we still have too many students still not wearing the proper clothing and shoes for the classes. No dance studio would ever tolerate this. Dance shoes and clothing were made for very good reasons. While we are a non profit program we are doing our best to keep it affordable at the lowest cost possible, we expect that all students/parents that participate in our program to be active, involved, and aware.
Due to the fact that this is an on going problem, there will be changes to our registration for the spring and future classes. For those that are returning parents/students I will do my very best to be sure you are getting the best from the program in return for your dedication, time, and funds that you have given and raised.
PLEASE NOTE STARTING WINTER 2010 IT IS MANDITORY AND REQUIRED THAT ALL PARENTS MUST ATTEND OUR PARENT MEETINGS SCHEDULED THE FIRST WEEK OF EACH MONTH. If you are unable to attend you are required to schedule an appointment with your parent leader. Any parent that fails to attend these meetings, student will not be eligible for any additional events or activities (recitals and performances included) other than participation in the class lessons.
